Lilia and Żart sold!

Our last trip to foreign competition which took place in Riesenbeck (Germany) on 29.07 - 01.08.2010 finished with a horse selling transaction (Lilia and Żart breed in SK Bielin).
This year Żart showed his best attributes on several trips: to Wroclaw, Altenfelden and Riesenbeck. He is a horse with great potential and was quickly noticed at the first of those trips. From the beginning he walked together with Lily. She walked on parcours all around the world: Altenfelden, Kladruby, Topolcianky, Niederwill, Riesenbeck, Warka, Jarantów, Prince, Gajewniki, Bielin, Gogolewo Bogusawice, Janczewo. Each time she was paired with Thanos, Thorgal and Cwał and always scored very high. She won medals in many editions of Polish Championships: in Jarantow (2006r. silver) in Gogolew (2008 silver), and in 2009 she obtained the IV place in Warka. She competed in the World Championships twice: in Warka (2007) and Kecskemet (2009. She won many medals in Polish Cups: 2006. (Silver), 2007. (Gold), 2008. (Bronze). In 2007 and 2008, Lily was rewarded as the best cart horse in Poland. Numerous trips to competitions, training sessions and shows allowed her to fully present her skills to the audience. Everyone in the cart-driving world has heard about Lily. No wonder that saying goodbye to her in Riesenbeck brought tears to our eyes ...
Now it's time to start training with a new pair: Lily’s son Boliwar and his half-brother Barbados.

We waited for Hubertus a whole year, so you can imagine our excitement when it was finally the day! :-)
This year the weather conditions were great. Finally we could make the chase for the fox after last year’s bad luck (because of the slippery paths, we had decided that it is safer to hide the fox brush instead of chasing it).
Our Folk Sports Club “Chersoń Bielin” player – Siergiej Leszczyński - impersonated the fox. He didn’t run too far – after few minutes Anne-Katrin Gelhar (Phot. 2) caught him. One week later, during a similar chase, the fox was caught by the brave Gina Nest (Phot. 4). According to the annual tradition, after the chase we organized a bonfire during which we shared our experiences from the game.
We would like to congratulate each participant of Hubertus 2008 for taking part in this unique event and invite you to return next year to try catch the fox again!
